Completing 20 years in the fashion diligence calls for a huge
festivity, like JJ Valaya's recent do in the capital. In fact, instead of
having one big thump, he's planning to turn the whole year into a party, preliminary
with the launch of his fiscal calendar.
The fashion alliance came to congratulate him on the launch
of the calendar, the models for which were his associates from the industry, counting
Sunil Sethi, Rahul Dev, Rakesh Thakore and Manish Arora, among others. Valaya
told us, "I don't know how 20 years have conceded it seems like just
yesterday. We do calendars every year,
but since this year is individual, I thought we'd give it a little bend.
They've all been my friends since forever, so gunfire it was fun."
Fun friends: We spotted JJ's nephew Gobind with his fiancee
Aakriti, and when we asked him if he was worried about the preparation for his
November wedding, he told us, "Not at all!" Like a good host, Valaya
took everybody who came to the do to look at the calender, shot by Tarun
Khiwal. Tarun told us, "It took us four days to shoot for this calender.
These friends are so much fun to work with."
